No one knows! To calculate the footprint of a particular pond would be a near impossible task, it would have to include the cooperation of all manufactures of pumps, plumbing, liners, underlay and fiberglass companies to name but a few, it would also have to include all transport companies as some popular pond products are made out side the U.K, the footprint of the office and the vans on the road.

What is Aquamaintenance doing about the Carbon Footprint created when constructing or reconstructing a pond?

We have been working closely with a company called ‘Carbon Footprint Ltd’ with whom we have signed an agreement that for each pond constructed or reconstructed they will manage our off-set scheme.

Each pond constructed or reconstructed = 1 tree planted or 2 when the pond exceeds 6000 gallons.
You will receive a certificate through the post to show that a tree has been planted on your behalf either within you own county or Kenya
